PurplePidjin · 17/05/2012 12:15

YANBU unless it makes you stink out the office with your cabbage farts...

TitsalinaBumSquash · 17/05/2012 12:16

I could eat soup everyday, especially with a warm crusty roll.

However you must mix it up and make new flavours every few days to make it interesting. :)

TroublesomeEx · 17/05/2012 12:17

I have it quite often. Always homemade.

What's on the menu today?

I'm having mushroom.

Twas butternut squash, carrot and cauliflower yesterday.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 17/05/2012 12:18

Butternut Squash soup is my favourite!

I have the Covent Garden book, it's ace! :)

GobblersKnob · 17/05/2012 12:26

I have had Chicken today, I have the Covent Garden soup book too!

This is excellent too. Have made some brilliant ones from it.

NotGeoffVader · 17/05/2012 12:51

Oooh, I was just wondering what to have for lunch. Now I am off to get that tin of soup out of the cupboard and put some toast on.

Once again, MN delivers! :)

NiniLegsInTheAir · 17/05/2012 12:57

I have soup for lunch everyday but IABU as it's Tesco's own. 46p a can,, its what I can afford. Tastes of nothing but salt :)

Carrymecarrie · 17/05/2012 12:57

Today it was broccoli and tomato, with added extras like spinach, potato, onion and garlic with tonnes of basil.
Yesterday was minty pea soup with tomato and onion.
I also make a mean carrot and coriander soup.
The key is garlic and loads of herbs.

And of course crusty bread. :o

The only good soup is home-made! Grin

I have soup for lunch at work, or salad in the summer. Make it on Monday to last all week.

Nyac · 17/05/2012 13:02

YANBU. I have soup for lunch almost every day. Not always home made however.

((((((soup)))))

NiniLegsInTheAir · 17/05/2012 13:02

carrie I like the taste of salt so it tastes good to me Grin.

Although if someone were to offer homemade soup instead it'd be rude to say no Wink.
