Tomorrow will be the first day in 2 weeks all my dc's will be back at school..I have a mahoosive pile of washing to get through, mainly bedding

YANBU they are truly hideous. DS had a horrendous one in March when he lost 8 lbs in 4 days. You have my sympathy! and

Yep. Cannot understand the need for stomach bugs to survive in evolutionary terms! (well apart from survival of the species of virus that is involved of course!).

DH shat himself yesterday.

He called me at work, in tears, and said he'd started throwing up and when his tummy contracted he shat himself.

(He has a bug and was off work).

I had to pretend to be too busy to stay on the phone long so made sympathetic noises then hung up quick because I just knew I was going to laugh and that would have been awful. But I'm sorry to stay it's still my own private high point in a month where all 3 of us have been struck down with this bastard lurgi!!

YANBU- i hate the blasted lurgy.
Me, DH and my 4dcs get it at least once every year, one year we even had it on christmas day.
Infact my 2 youngest came down with it last night, it was a nightmare because DH was working and i was flitting between them both with 2 sick buckets(sick face)
My carpet is ruined, my sofa is ruined have been scrubbing away at them and they still smell and the washing machine hasn't stopped.
Wish they could come up with a vaccination for it
