Or is she a cantankerous wench?

DC1 walked the dog over to my Mums house today. My Mum lives just down the road. My Mums neighbour has two dogs and as DC walked past with our dog,the neighbours dogs started barking and growling. The gate was locked so they couldn't get out.
The neighbour, who knows DC,told her not to walk the dog past her house and to stick to her own end of the road as her dogs were upset by our dog. DC got very upset about being shouted at for walking the dog.

I'm fuming. How dare she tell someone where to walk their dog. Its a public road.

Maybe you should calm down by taking you dog for a walk up and down the road?

Sorry, YANBU. Blush

BananasInBloomers · 14/05/2012 20:28

I wouldn't mind but the dog is lazy laid back and just ambles along bothering no one. Her dogs bark at everything.

YANBU. She is definitely a cantankerous wench!

Your poor DD Sad

Miserable old bint - whatever the situation with the dogs (although 'upset' my arse) it's not really on that she shouted at your DD or spoke to her in a way that reduced her to tears.

I'd be having a word. Probably be quite a short word.
