Bear with me...I have just watched the whole of series 1 of Tucker's Luck, apart from the nostalgia it is the recession in another dimension. I am not articulating this very well but what I mean is that there are lots of similarities between then and now that, even 10 years ago, would have seems very much an 80s phenomenon and not relevant to life in the 21st century. Obviously this is a lighthearted view, (I am a 38 year old about to sit down to series 2 and 3 of Tucker's Luck so I don't expect to be declared the greatest brainbox ever). If you get the chance though, watch it, if nothing else for the nostalgia.

Or watch it if you used to have a crush on Todd Carty .........

I am a bit worried as I even fancy him a little bit as Tucker. I think it's because i see myself as an 18 year old 80s girl though, not a middle aged cougar.

Ooh! Where did you watch it? It was filmed in the estate where I grew up. I would love to watch it again

Reminds me of fancying Zammo from Grange Hill as a youngster. One day I decided to google him to see what he was up to these days.

Dear God, the years have been very cruel. Sorry Zammo!

I downloaded all 3 series from a site called thebox.bz complete with wobbly vhs tracking issues occasionally.
