I love being lazy at the time

Then after a lot a lazy I don't enjoy it as much as guilt
Kicks in

Then even later after more uneasy laziness I look around and am surrounded by an awful mess and then I panic and cry.

So I'm on the (lazy ass) fence

There is a quote I read somewhere about lwasting time being required for creativity. I save that as my excuse :)

Seriously though I do go slightly mad if I don't have a large amount of faffing about time during the week.

I think lazy is a bit like takeaways and chocolate - its great initially but after a while it feel a little less great and eventually too much of it won't leave you feeling great.

Though right now laziness and chocolate during DS's nap sounds great!

Me too. I need a lot of downtime to be lazy or I feel like I am going crazy

Lottapianos · 14/05/2012 13:11

I love being lazy but feel guilty with it. So I can really only enjoy it if I've put some effort in first - like yesterday, I did some cleaning, went for an hour-long walk, did some exercise DVD and was then very lazy indeed for the rest of the evening. Does that count? Smile

MrsJREwing · 14/05/2012 13:14

I agree being lazy is great in the short term, and too much of a good thing like Chocolate it doesn't feel good in the long term.

CremeEggThief · 14/05/2012 13:16

Me too, OP. DS is off today with a sore throat and slightly high temperature, so I'm just about to put my breakfast dishes in the dishwasher. I also got dressed and put a wash on, but that's all. Suppose I'd better go and clean my teeth now...

betterwhenthesunshines · 14/05/2012 15:01

Very very important to have some lazy time. BTW it's not lazy, it's recharging time, and without it we'd all blow a fuse :o so stop feeling guilty.

MrsHelsBels74 · 14/05/2012 15:12

I feel guilty when I just do nothing, apart from watching son & TV. However I am 21 weeks pregnant with sciatica so doing a lot is very difficult/painful.
