Saying that, I've a few very long suffering family and friends who supported City through thick and thin, and they certainly deserve to enjoy this! I'm United through and through, but would never begrudge the longstanding support their moment in the sun. In particular anyone who went on the away trips with them in the second division in 1998-99. They earned this!

Going off at a tangent slightly, can someone tell me how Barton can manage to commit various acts of criminal assault in front of goodness how many hundreds of police officers and manage not to be arrested? The footage is here, for those who haven't seen it. The man's a scumbag, for those who don't know it.

I can't stand Barton, He's an out and out thug.

I hope so, I really do. A lashing-out once is bad enough - not acceptable but sometimes understandable to an extent but Barton's in another league altogether, out of control. All credit to the Ref for handling it as well as he could but Jeez, he shouldn't have to. If I were Sparky I'd have had JB on the transfer list by the time his little toe hit the bath this afternoon. I hope that Sparks has the courage and decency to do it too.
