to be annoyed and cold

The thermostat says 22 degrees, why am I so cold.
Why will my children not go to sleep. I am knackered and have a headache, and just wanted an hour between them going to bed and me going to bed to get some jobs done. I am now too tired and wrung out from yelling and hissing "JUST GO TO BED" for the last hour.
grr

You mustn't be a real polar bear if you re so cold....

hiddenhome · 10/05/2012 21:35

Do you have a temperature? If it gets high enough, you can feel cold.

Have you eaten enough?

Low thyroid?

Are you over tired?

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2012 21:49

Well I discovered the bathroom window was open which may have had something to do with it :o
Think I'm just stressed out by bedtimes. I hate not having any time t myself between kids & bed. End up knackered and wasting time on MN then getting all my jobs done at abut 11 and going to bed late :(
It's fine, really. Can't complain about sleep at the moment. It's just so frustrating when they do all the delaying tactics...so far we've had drink, wee, blanket, he's stolen my blanket - I'm now waiting for bad dream

Our bedtimes used to take 2 hours. It gets better as they get older.

Oh bloody hell, just discovered DH has a £300 phone bill!! Same thing happened last month and they fixed it quite quickly but he's away on holiday, don't know if they'll talk to me and I don't want to worry him.
I am being beseiged by minor annoyances :o

Shock
StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2012 22:08

hmm when I go in there's a big sign saying we owe them almost £300, we are very naughty customers and we're not to go anywhere else until we've paid it.
But when I download the bill it tells us we are £5 in credit.
Confused
I'm just not going to worry

this is for DH who barely texts me, maybe rings home twice a month! His bills are usually about £4!
We were on holiday last month and he let the kids watch some streamed film. When he checked his balance it was £80 so he paniced and turned off absolutely anything that could be using data. He checked the next morning and it was £300!! Some cap that should be applied wasn't being applied - even so that seems steep for the kids watching about an hour and my dad watching half an hour of football. He was so worried, but credit to them, they did sort it out very quickly.

Confused are you sure it's a kosher site and you haven't been misdirected or something?

StealthPolarBear · 10/05/2012 22:11

no :o the "very naughty customers" was my loose translation
