to ask how you delete a friend off facebook?

ive been trying to work out how to do it all day!!

Go to their page - there will be a button top right that says 'friends' with a tick. Hover over it and a list will come up - down at the bottom it says 'unfriend'. Click. Done!

will the person know they have been deleted from myfriends list?

is 'blocking' someone different? I dont want them even to see that montage of information and photos that comes up if you click on their name
