To think treating tiny babies as entertainment is cruel and abusive

Not feeling great so I'm say on the sofa watching an old episode of celebrity wife swap, the one with razor ruddock and Pete Burns. They have a 6 month old baby and it has just been handed, screaming, to Pete burns while razor went down the pub. It was obviously terrified, he was clueless and it was just horrible to watch. I don't understand how you could just leave a tiny baby with a clueless stranger like that for entertainment.

Haven't seen it but I have to say I'd never (a) appear on Wife Swap, (b) let my children appear on WS, (c) appear on tv with a baby that young, (d) leave a child of mine with anyone they didn't know, never mind a baby, and never mind on tv!!!!!! Shock so YANBU.

I'm not very judgy when the kids are older as sometimes there seem to learn from being on there. But how anyone can do that when they have a small baby is beyonnd me.

YANBU but since it was being filmed and that show is only put on to get a reaction from the outrageous goings on, it was probably only for a moment and there were plenty of other people around to look after the baby.

Ok so I'm going to confess to having watched an awful lot of wife swap recently. Got it on series link and it passes time when I'm stuck on the sofa feeding ds. I watched this episode today and felt sorry for the baby. I've never seen such a young baby on wife swap and think the granny and grandpa done more than we seen. And Pete did seem to get into the swing of it!
