My boys went to their dads on sat morn. The arangement is he brings them back on sunday about 6pm.
Got to 7pm yesterday and i text him to ask when they would be back. No reply. My son managed to send me a message at 7.45 from his ipod ( phone was flat) to say dad got headache not bringing us back.
Tried to call ex no answer. Got in car and went to get them, they told their dads gf they were going.
No reply to txt ever and nothing to acknowledge that o had gone and got them not even thank you

Is this rude of him? I was worried they could have been in an accident for all i knew!!

YANBU - he should've text to say he was ill and to say a) his gf would be taking them back or b) could you pick them up. What if you'd had plans to do something with them?

NearlyMrsCustardsHardHat · 07/05/2012 17:09

YANBU and if I were you i'd be having strong words with the ex over that

MissPricklePants · 07/05/2012 17:11

YANBU! If my ex did that I would be having words, he should have sorted an alternative way for them to be dropped off or got in touch and explained he was ill and could you pick them up.

no YABU. What if your DC were unable to contact you? You would have been worried sick over nothing because he couldn't be arsed to contact you.
