I love roast pork sandwiches made with proper butter and a pinch of salt. Send it my way.

Pork pie?

laughlovelife · 06/05/2012 16:08

shredded pork casserole, pork curry, pork sandwiches, honey roast pork, is beautiful also, and easy peasy when the meat is already cooked.

What processed him to get it that size in the first place, but loving the suggestions

You could have chopped it in half, or quarters and frozen what you didnt need for today.

You could always chop it in half now and it will cook a bit quicker.

I generally work on 30 mins per pound (or 450g) plus 30 mins at gas 5 or equivalent.

I use leftover pork for risotto, pasta eg bolognese type sauces, have tried a potted pork dish called rillettes (great with crackers, or crusty bread), sarnies, salads, etc.

Couldn't cut it as it has a bone running though it

Sounds like a hand of pork which I usually slow roast for 6 hours then it is beautiful and tender. It is a very economical joint I usually pay £12 and it feeds 8 adults with leftovers.

Get some sauce and make a beautiful char sui.

McHappyPants2012 · 06/05/2012 18:43

Finally it is cooked, just resting now while the veg steams
