DD and I made popcorn this afternoon. I put some salt on it (more on mine than DD's)

DH reckoned we should put toffee sauce on it .

AIBU to think that salt is the only topping for popcorn and toffee sauce in particular is just yuck yuck yuck?

No, quite right. Salt is correct.

I don't really like popcorn but at a push I'd eat it with icing sugar sprinkled on top.

We have sweet on the bottom of the bag, salty on top (because it's best, natch) then DP chucks a bag of Minstrels through it.

Oh tits, I used to have a bf who'd buy salted popcorn warm at the cinema and then chuck in a bag of m@ms, it's really tasty and the candy goes a little melty inside. Hmmmmm!

We used to have with hot sauce when I was a child, micro the popcorn, then micro the sauce, that was nice but I don't know what it was.
