I am bf my dd who turns one very soon and we have been ttc our second child and over the last few weeks I seem to have developed what looks to be a baby bump...It bares great resemblence to my 17week pregnancy photo...I have had symptoms over the last few months and have poas three or four and all have come back negative :0( is it possible that all the tests are wrong and that I am indeed pregnant or am I just a heffer in denile?!? Help please!

Hard to say.

If it's just been the last few weeks, you're probably better being checked over by your doctor.

Yawner247 · 05/05/2012 23:54

Ooops meant to say we have been ttc for the last four months!

Prolapsed womb maybe?

I don't know but if you've gone from 'normal' to developing a bump that makes you look over 4 months pregnant in a matter of a few weeks, I'd get it checked out...just to put your mind at rest.

Grr autocorrect denial not the denile dh would be proud of my spelling errors!! Wink
I've had gradual weight gain over the last few months and it's this last few weeks that I have taken note of the shape/size when looking at pregnancy pics and pics of our dd over the last year! Thanks worra

Oh I don't know then but I imagine 3 or 4 pregnancy tests would be pretty reliable.

Welcome to the world of needing to do a vast amount of sit ups Grin

Not that you have to I don't Blush

Grin

You're probably not a 'heffer'...just a bit out of shape!

Having said that I have no idea of your height and weight so only you know if you are or not.

The good thing is that you realise you're not happy early enough for you to be able to change things to suit you.

It's always easier to lose a little bit of weight than to wake up one day and realise you've got tons that you want to lose.

Yawner - google the Tuplar method. Tells you everything you need to know :)

summerintherosegarden · 06/05/2012 07:46

5'8 and 10st6 is definitely not heffer-ville!

summerintherosegarden · 06/05/2012 07:48

Though I should add - if you are feeling unhappy with your size, now's the time to do something about it rather than wait til it genuinely is a problem (at your current height/weight I'd imagine you're technically in the 'normal' BMI range?)
