Bastard 'orrible neighbour kids are at again. Soaking dd1 with water pistols this time. We have not bought any water pistols this year, what with being freezing cold still and all.

I armed her with a very large plastic dish full of cold water instead and a large waterproof coat with a hood.

DH says this unfair. It's too cold to be encouraging dd1 (who was in tears and has in no way encouraged a water play fight until they soaked (literally) her) to be throwing large dishes of cold water over other children.

I think if the little sods don't wanna get wet, they shouldn't go round soaking other kids, no?

Is there not a drought? Hmm

D0oinMeCleanin · 02/05/2012 19:02

Drought? Nope. Not up here. Floods? Yes. Lots of. Drought? No. It's pissed down pretty much constantly for the last week and there's more due tonight, apparently.

Besides which I gave her a mixing a bowl not a hosepipe. Our hosepipe is not long enough to go through to the front of the house unfortunately

Not here there isn't sensual lives near Dooin

diddl · 02/05/2012 19:02

Why doesn´t she just come in?Confused

D0oinMeCleanin · 02/05/2012 19:04

Why should she have to, diddl? Why can she not play out as normal without being pestered by these awful little scrotes.

Did she soak them? Hope so! However- their revenge maybe awful. You may have started a WAR....

scubastevie · 02/05/2012 19:05

Err two wrongs don't make a right...they will just do it back to her, probably even worse!!

sensuallettuce · 02/05/2012 19:06

We have floods but also a drought it's very confusing Confused

Can you speak to the parents?

DPrince · 02/05/2012 19:07

Why would you 'arm' her if you don't want her to get wet?

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 02/05/2012 19:08

half a pint of maggots through the letterbox in the dead of night Dooin Wink

diddl · 02/05/2012 19:08

OK, didn´t quite understand the situation.

So she´s playing in the garden and they`re soaking her from next door?

That´s horrible-I assume the parents don´t care?

NarkedPuffin · 02/05/2012 19:08

It sounds fair enough to me.

DPrince · 02/05/2012 19:09

we also have had floods but have a hosepipe ban. Its weird.

FateLovesTheFearless · 02/05/2012 19:09

Why would you do that?! Confused

I would have set up the power washer and blasted the little dears into kingdom come! Grin

D0oinMeCleanin · 02/05/2012 19:10

The parents don't seem to do much. They were talked to after they damaged a car in the process of throwing mud and stones at my house and children. It stopped things for about a day, then they came back with water guns instead.

The neighbours also spoke to the parents, regarding vandalising other people's property.

We don't have a drought sensual. Our water company was only on the news earlier stating that even if we do have to start sending tankers full of water down to the south there will still be plenty left for us.

Although I wasn't aware mixing bowls were banned, even in drought areas?

Ice cubes of a few drops of lavender oil - that would be unreasonable.
