have posted in health but not many people go there,

For a couple of months I have had a bruise on my right breast, I thought it was just a superficial skin bruise but a month ago I began to get pain in my right arm pit and breast when the Dr examined me she wasn't too concerned about the bruise but felt a lump in my right breast and that was much more painful when she examined it not massively so but more tender yes, I have to go back in 2 weeks after my period to see if it will still be there then maybe go for a test at the hospital.
Has anyone had this before, I cried on the way home I know I have to cross the bridge when I come to it but Im in the middle of finishing a college course, Ive just been accepted into uni and Im now really worried, any advice welcomed

I haven't had quite same (had lactation related lump) but do know how worrying it is.
Most lumps are benign but it's worth getting checked out- most referrals are quick.

And even If they aren't , breast cancer is treatable these days

Hi OP, It's really hard but please try not to panic too much. I had a lot of painful lumps which turned out to be cysts. I was told by the mammogram taker that cysts tend to be painful wheras dangerous lumps tend not to be painful.

I am not a medical person though but that's just what she said to me. I really hope everything is ok for you.

The resounding advice seems to be that cancerous breast lumps don't hurt (Im worrying a bit less now) Thanks so much
