god mother taken ds1, for 1hr playtime dd down for nap and i have just cooked myself the most delicious poached eggs on toast.
I am sitting at the table with no noise, no tv, no screaming even the dog is leaving me in peace i forgot how nice quiet is.

YANBU Enjoy it while you can, I used to love it when I got a bit of peace and quiet when the DC were younger.

Not at all, it's great isn't it?!

I've been off work yesterday and today with d&v and DS has gone to the childminder's, so even though I feel like death warmed up it's so lovely and quiet - I can read my book, keep going for naps and watch anything else but bloody cartoons. I am also losing weight too, every cloud eh??!
