To just want a pyjama day today

Son has been up in the night for past 2 nights, am 18 weeks pregnant & not sleeping & have a splitting headache. Am I the worst mum in the world for just wanting to sit in front of the TV in my pyjamas & not take my son out?

Despite what our grannies say, our children do not need to be taken out for an airing every single day, however you may feel better for some fresh air and ds may sleep better tonight if you exercise him outdoors (bit like dogs really I always thinkGrin) - so unless it's tipping down why not struggle out?

YANBU!!! pj day all the way!! Grin

fussbucket · 24/04/2012 09:34

Also daytime telly is seriously crap, unless you've got sky+ of course...

YANBU. It's dark, cold and rainy out there. I certainly CBA schlepping my children to some wholesome activity Grin

YANBU - we are just watching TV today - both kids are ill, one was up in the night.

YANBU - I am having the exact same kinda day, My 2 older boys have been took to school by hubbie and there gran picks them up on a Tuesday and they stay the night. I love a Tuesday where me and my little one do whatever we feel like doing. You are not a the 'worst mum' at all we all need a chill out day every now and again :) xx

In doing the same. Mind you, I did have an laparoscopy yesterday, so I suppose I have a good excuse!! Daytime tv is pants though Sad

KnockedUpMell · 24/04/2012 11:07

YADNBU. I had a duvet day yesterday after working 3 long days in a row. Didn't even take DS to the playgroup which is a 10 minute walk away. We watched tv and napped all day. I feel a lot more human now. Enjoy it!

Gumby · 24/04/2012 11:08

I'd be in my pjs huddled in bed if I didn't have to do the school run later

RosieBooBoo · 24/04/2012 11:23

I'm having a jammie day after 4 long shifts, daytime tv is the pits so i always make sure i've got loads of progs on sky+. Total me time bliss!

I'd love a pyjama day today - 34 weeks pg, and DS has been up every night for weeks. Plus I'm not sleeping anyway due to bladder capacity now.

Instead I'm sitting at my desk trying not to break the keyboard with my nodding head, and looking forward to friday, when the CM has DS, and I'm taking the day off work.

So IMO YADNBU to want a PJ day!

YANBU. Are you able to give yourself one? It sounds as though you deserve and need it.

I'd love a PJ day. Sofa, hot chocolate, crisps, The Lady ... oh, that'd be heaven. Can't see it happening in the foreseeable though unless I was to kill off the other members of my household
