Aibu to hidestay in the bedroom holding a sleeping feeding 3mo ds whilst dh hoovers and tidies the flat...?

I might be U because he's been arty work all day and i've just been to post natal group, but in my defence ds got me up 4 or 5 times last night, has vern verru grouchy today and i've been having done emotional ishoos... Plus he's eating like a house and every so often comes to to check the boob is still right by his mouth where he left it.

Hrm... I need the loo. Do you think dh has the place sparkling yet?

Hide to your hearts content! I used to do it a lot, very relaxing and lovely, you'll miss it when they are older.

Grin hide away, and if your DH says anything, fix him with the death-stare that tells him you just got the baby to sleep after a long day, any questions?

I'm hiding in DD's bedroom too as DH is dealing with another SIL crisis

I remember those days, Snuffly little 3mo and getting snuggled up in bed.

I'm now off to pin my hyper 4yo into bed. Sigh.. Wish me luck!

(YANBU btw :) )

and to be fair to him - he didn't say a word :) But then he did have to deal with a hysterical mess of a wife when he go thome, so he's probably just glad I have a vague smile on my face tbh

I could do with some Wine actually!

And YANBU, naturally!

Wish I had done that more - maybe I should start now as my 7m old often screams at boob removal.

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 19/04/2012 21:25

Worth a shot, candr...

Ah - I just did some online shopping. My day has improved. Ok, it was for funky washable nappies, but who cares?
