AIBU to feel sad

AIBU to feel sad that my best friend and her family are moving away and have only just told me today having found a new rented house and moving within the month? We have known each other all our lives and i was thrilled when they moved down here 18months ago, in fact i found each of their2rented houses for them and whilst we perhaps only saw each other once or twice a week, it was great to have them in the same village! Today she texted me to say they had found another house to rent and though only 20miles away obviously won't be the same. AIBU to feel sad that either i am so unimportant that she didn't feel i needed to know of her plans or that for whatever reason she didn't want me to be involved in any way until it was a "fait accompli"

Thanks lifechanger for your words, of course it is her life and she can move wherever she likes but just feel i would have shared my musings with her a little earlier.

Having been the friend doing the move I would say YABU, genuinely at the time we were planning our move I couldn't tell anyone until near the time, I only had room for my own emotions and upset and couldn't deal with anyone else's. I was moving 300 miles, it's very hard to do Sad
