Because eBay won't let me leave negative feedback?

Sold a small electrical item last week for just under £100. New bidder came in during last five mins and won the item. Have I heard from him since? Nope. Nothing. It has now been ten days. After a week I opened a case against him and will close the case tomorrow and try to resell.

But why bother bidding like that and then disappearing?! Is it like a hobby for some people? I feel like sending him an arsey email being as eBay now say I can't leave negative feedback, which may be why he has 0% feedback. I won't actually send it but I have written it in my head a few times.

I'm really cross. Disproportionately cross actually!

I thought you could leave negative feedback if an item wasn't paid for?

Nope, can't leave a buyer negative feedback. He just gets an unpaid strike. But alas it is not an unpaid strike about the head with a blunt object.

Change your settings to prevent bidders with less than a specified amout of feedback bidding.
