YANBU at all, you can borrow my DS if you like, he's off all next week as well. Wink

I don't want DD1 to go back because I love spending time with her, plus she hates going to school at the min Sad

She didn't realise she doesn't go back until Weds, so was pleased to have a stay of exectution.

Chubfuddler · 12/04/2012 19:33

God I can't wait.

curiositykitten · 12/04/2012 19:35

I don't want my DC to go back to school because it involves all having to be up and ready in the morning.

I do, however, want them to go back because I may kill them otherwise.

Shakey1500 · 12/04/2012 19:37

I like having DD at home.
I like having DS at home.

But having them both together...Bloody nightmare! Can't wait for them to go back. (sorry kids x)

My mother used to dance round the house singing 'Happy days are here again' on the last day of the school holidays.

wheredidiputit · 12/04/2012 20:49

I can't wait.

It will be the first time in 8yrs I will have the morning to myself Grin.

I would love to have DS1 at home for longer (he seems very serious and unhappy at school and really happy at home in the hols) whereas I would have loved to have sent DS2 back erm ... about ... 2 weeks ago!!!!

lazylula · 12/04/2012 22:18

As much as mine drive me mad at times, I love the holidays and am not looking forward to the whole back to school routine and will miss ds1 on Tuesday when he goes back. I am also dreading Tues as ds2 goes back to preschool and his much loved and by far the favourite 'teacher' has gone on maternity leavewhich he seems to be struggling to understand, I think there maybe tears :(

EndoplasmicReticulum · 12/04/2012 22:19

I love the holidays, sorry.

(guess my job......)

TheSockPuppet · 12/04/2012 22:23

I'm quite sad about my son going back to school, I can't wait until the summer holidays Wink I'm a student so we're both off and I get to spend all holiday with him, it makes up for living in relative poverty on a student loan! Grin
