To sometimes want to be a child again?

That's it really!

I just looked at ds (7) and dd (10) and thought how great it would be, just even for a week, to have no responsibilities, no stress, not a worry in the world!

Their main concern at the minute is getting enough rocks to buy something for their moshi monsters.

I work 2 jobs, run a home, just the same as most adults really, just wish I'd made the most of being a child when I had the chance, that's all :)

Anyone else?

Youth is wasted on the young...

No thank you. I'd like to be retired. That way I get to choose what I do and eat and whom I have to interact with and no stress.
No parents telling me what to do.

Not me, I had a horrible childhood and hated being a teenager even more.

Birdsgottafly · 09/04/2012 17:52

If that's your child's childhood, then it is enviable.

I had a shit childhood that i survived by a matter of luck and so do many, so i would imagine that you will get mixed answers.

I often think I would like to go back to childhood so I can start all over again and do everything differently.

OddBoots · 09/04/2012 17:59

I know what you mean but I think I'd rather be a cat.

OddBoots · 09/04/2012 17:59

A cherished cat.

I hadn't a great childhood myself, which is why I didn't say I wanted my childhood back,... Just to be a child again Wink

It's more the lack of responsibilities I envy them!

Have been working all day and just thought how great it was for them still to be in jammas at this time!
