If I melted an Easter egg add hot milk to make hot chocolate. Topped of with cream

depends on the quality of the chocolate. I'd heat the milk and chocolate together. You won't need much chocolate.

Only if it's a really good quality egg with high cocoa solids. Cheapo milk chocolate is disgusting when it melts.

I've tried this before [bublush] and the chocolate melted into lumps and floated on the top. Did you try it OP?

try grating the chocolate into really hot milk. We were given a hot chocolate set which was a glass jug with a frothing bit on it and a packet of grated chocolate which we had to stir into the hot milk before doing the frothing bit. Was v tasty. Especially with marshmallow, cream, cocoa dust and mini flake all added. Wonders why she cant lose any weight!

oh, Thorntons, unless it's dark chocolate, this probably won't go well, sorry. Better option, melt it slowly, add cream and stir round, you now have a yummy chocolate sauce. Pour said hot chocolate sauce over icecream. Heaven!

Decided not to do it feeling rather sick after eating way too much chocolate. But I am going to get some proper chocolate and give it a go
