And judging by the squealing and girly giggling that went on in anticipation before the lasses I knew had an evening watching that and dirty dancing, it's not a film for me

Am I the only person in who thinks Kevin Bacon is ugly and the worst dancer in the world. He is so incredibly unattractive it puts me off the film completely. Sorry, I'm sure I'll offend but he's just butt ugly!!!!!!!

It's a great film if you like the "genre" - typical musical..... boy meets girl, things don't run smoothly, lots of music along the way, all end happily ever after.

That said, if I were reading or trying to get to sleep in bed, I would not be impressed with someone coming up and putting on anything I don't want to watch.
