He's so odd and there's noway I'd trust him to solve a crime.

Urgh, he makes me shudder.

We wears a lot of make up. I wonder what he looks like without it.

I am very fond of Archie thiugh.

Pippinintherain · 04/04/2012 12:17

Archie doesn't instill such strong feelings in me.

TBH I think most of that village are odd.

The episode with Plummy needing a haircut almost had me vomming.

Yes, the haircut, that was where I first noticed the make-up. He looked...slimey. Grin

It is a funny show, the Scottish woman in the shop who can't sing is quite entertaining too.

I think we have the TV on too much in this house.

TheMonster · 04/04/2012 12:21

I used to find Archie strangely attractive. Then I got out more and became normal Grin

IKilledIgglePiggle · 04/04/2012 12:23

He does like his blusher.

roughtyping · 04/04/2012 12:25

Yes, PC Plum is odd. We watched it when DS was very little, he's 8 now :)

Do love Archie, he's a comedian! He appears in Gary: Tank Commander.

Pippinintherain · 04/04/2012 12:25

I def need to get out more Grin

Ah, I think Archie is just a symbol of my liking for curly-haired Scottish men in kilts in general.

Although having said that, I do lean more towards well built game-keeper types. Rab C. Nesbitt, not so much..

squoosh · 04/04/2012 12:28

Archie is soooo very very creepy.

IKilledIgglePiggle · 04/04/2012 12:32

Archie looks ashamed to be there and he has zero rhythm when prancing around in his kilt.

thebody · 04/04/2012 13:11

I would like to see Jodie jump after giving birth to my 4 Dcs, I wet myself on dds trampoline if not visited toilet first. I no rather too much information

Sandalwood · 04/04/2012 13:32

I felt so rotten for PC Plum when he got beaten up.

trikken · 04/04/2012 13:44

The crimes all seem a bit petty, I know its a kids program but they went to see Plummy as they needed to find out how many sails were on a boat the other week.

thebody · 04/04/2012 13:47

Who beat him up? Pocket and sweet?

Heavensmells · 04/04/2012 13:56

I always silently change the words to his song to "I'm PC Plum and I take it up the bum" Tis very immature I know but I can't help it! Blush

autumnsummers · 04/04/2012 13:57

I know him IRL and he's a lovely man.

Moomaloo · 04/04/2012 13:59

Oh yes, love Archie! PC Plum is in love with Miss Hoolie.

Panzee · 04/04/2012 14:00

It's his eyebrows.

CroissantNeuf · 04/04/2012 14:09

Is Balamory still going?!

DCs are 12 and 7 now so its a long time since I was subjected to the delights of CBeebies.

I was always convinced the little Scottish woman in the shop had a bit of a drink problem (bottle of Buckie hidden under the counter maybe??). PC Plum was just so wet and wimpy.

tethersend · 04/04/2012 14:16

I always wondered how Spencer ended up in Balamory.

My guess is the witness protection programme. I bet he's seen some shit.

StuckUpTheFezziwigTree · 04/04/2012 14:18

Heavensmells - I do that too!

ABigGirlDoneItAndRanAway · 04/04/2012 14:26

What is the relationship between Suzie and Penny supposed to be, I always think that Penny is a gold digger waiting for her sugar momma Suzie to die so she gets the shop and the cafe, I can totally picture her slipping a bit of arsenic into Suzie's tea to hasten the process but maybe that's just because Penny's smug round face annoys me.

flyingspaghettimonster · 04/04/2012 15:41

Plum is the village idiot that they all allow to wear a police man's uniform and then make up tasks to keep him out of harms way. The dj episode was awful. So glad balamory is gone from our lives.

StealthPolarBear · 04/04/2012 15:43

Have you seen the bit where he's doing the dance and he comes out of the woods...fiddling with his flies?

ShatnersBonnet · 04/04/2012 15:46

Plum reminds me of Grandpa from The Munsters.
