I am really upset about this. My DB told my DM he wanted to get married in June, but didn't have a preference about the date, and asked her which date she liked. She randomly picked the 8th of June, but didn't ask me how easy / difficult it would be for me to take leave then. The wedding will be in Malaysia (the rest of my family is there and I am the only one abroad). It will be impossible for me to take time off work that week, but annoyingly, I have a week off work the week before. If she had only asked me first, I could have told her that, I would be able to attend his wedding! He's my only DB and I would so love to be there :( AIBU to have expected her to ask me first?
