Ok, I am as opposed to the creeping americanisation of everything as the next person however YCNBS would be very useful for those occasions when you want to indicate complete and utter disbelief (no naice ham left in Waitrose?) and a Biscuit simply will not do.

Can we keep it huh? Can we? Can we?!!

Yaay!! I thought I was going to have to flounce off and ask Dad Wink

Nanny0gg · 01/04/2012 12:27

Shouldn't it be: YCBS?

Tee2072 · 01/04/2012 12:28

Nanny is right. Cannot is one word.

Snowboarder · 01/04/2012 12:34

Ah, sorry Blush

SydSaid · 01/04/2012 12:47

Yeah, it is - but YCBS could be you can be serious, I think it needs the additional (but technically erroneous) N.

OptimisticPessimist · 01/04/2012 12:50

Surely the N is for emphasis? As in "You Can NOT Be Serious"? Grin

Tee2072 · 01/04/2012 13:09

I'll accept that OP! Grin

Nanny0gg · 01/04/2012 13:19

The clarification point is a good one.

Point conceded.

YABU for suggesting that one is only allowed to use MN approved and listed acronyms. Go forth and proliferate new ones...nothing more satisfying than googling down a new acronym.

youarenotbeingserious · 01/04/2012 13:26

I agree with you OP.
