I've actually rewound the broadcast to pull a few quotes for you. Here's what a member of the public said on Watchdog about a problem with some Dulux paint which he bought. Any guesses what the problem was?

"I feel like I've been cheated"

"it's obviously something that they must've known about, so it calls into question why they managed to to sell it to me in the first place"

"it looks horrendous"

"it's got to be redone, there's no doubt about that"

Well I'd feel downright cheated if my paintwork started brilliant white and then swiftly turned buttercream! Their houses must look like the set of Eastenders! I'd be down B&Q with me knuckledusters like a SHOT!

Alright, no mystery then!

I mean, it must be mildly irritating to have your gleaming white doors go a slightly creamy colour, but FFS! The way he was talking anyone would've thought it had gone shit brown with an accompanying smell and was leaking asbestos! Someone buy that man a ticket to Damascus so he can see what actually constitutes a "horrendous" problem! Bloody spoilt brat!

I was joking when I suggested the colour GrinGrinGrinGrin

Ooh I do like to freshen the place up with a lick of asbestos every Spring.

DeWee you are clairvoyant!

Saggy, if you owned a pair of knuckledusters I'd fully expect your house to look exactly like a gaffe on Eastenders! Wink
