I suspect I am, but no one ever agrees with me. I was being nice though

You can either be delighted at your own prowess or concerned that you find yourself in agreement with that many DM readers

When readers of a bigoted, racist, homophobic, and women hating news paper agree with you I would feel lots of things but smug wouldn't be one of them.

but perhaps all those green arrows were from the Mumsnetters that pretend not to read the DM?

I have had the highest red arrows once... and the highest green arrows another time.

Pandas, what you have to remember is, the majority of readers (online) read it simply to mock... just because they print it, doesnt mean people agree with it!

I had terrible red arrows the other week for being rude about one of the slebs that the Fail readership have adopted as an icon. I liked it.

I always get loads of thumbs up on the Yahoo celebrity news pages! It's my guilty pleasure commenting on their crappy stories and really bad journalism.

why have they run a story about rita rusic every day recently??? i was seriously tempted to do a grumpy-DM-reader style rant asking who is this woman?

seriously - where has she come from and why does it matter that she wears ill-fitting bikinis? i actually clicked one of the stories and still couldn't work out why they were running it...

and i have only commented once on a yahoo news story, then never again cause it appeared up in my H's mail home page that i'd commented!

The DM won't allow me to post anymore as I was very scathing about one of their pieces a few years ago. I got one comment through a few months back - which was red arrowed like mad as I had an opposite view to everyone else - then the next time I looked they'd deleted it. I've tried changing my name but they still seem to know it's me. I've noticed lots of people now are saying

bugger, posted too soon...

are saying the same as me such as 'is this really news DM?', 'what crap journalism' etc.

I got the red for suggesting that gender reveal cakes are a tacky Americanism. Cried myself to sleep.

aw, that's one of my hobbies - backing up the posts with the most red arrows . I would be shocked if I agreed with the ones with the most greens.

Very occasionally they get it wrong, and there seems to be a rash of very sensible comments under one of their slanted stories - usually one with the "sadface" photo.

Seriously, though, some of the comments are just plain scary.
