To want some fecking pansies?

DH has gone to work and has left me £20 for baby soya milk and some food as he forgot to pay for the food shopping on tinternet yesterday. I'm sulking because I really wanted some pansies and my life has been reduced to wanting fucking pansies!

Was planning to go into town and get them from the market, very cheap and a few pots from Pound shop. I'm bored, love my DS's but not loving being a SAHM at the mo and some pansies would brighten my day and my garden, sulk, grump, arse (sad)

Your post reads like that of a child not an adult. A SAHM shouldn't mean you have to wait for your dh to leave you out some money. Think you need to have a chat about having access to money while you are at home.

I got pansies at the weekend and they DO brighten your day Grin

YANBU

I planted some daffs and tulips in my garden yesterday as I forgot to put bulbs in in autumn and was jealous of people who had. They're just about to open and will look lovely. I put DS (1 yr) on a blanket in the garden and he played and watched me all afternoon - twas fab.

valiumhead it does sound a bit odd but we have no money and I tend to spend it if I'm feeling low or bored so I have given him my cards to stop the overspending.

I'm just stamping my feet a bit about it today as I wanted to get some flowers, a bit childish I guess. Currently trying to figure out a master plan on how to get pansies without shoplifting HmmGrin

I suggest a walk in the nearest park in the sunshine, or through the nicest residential area near you. The older houses round here have cherry and magnolia trees. Guaranteed to lift the spirits without spending money.

At this time of year I vary my routes to go past the best ones and later in spring to find horse-chestnuts in bloom (even though they make me sneeze)

My winter pansies have just flowered again!
