Makes me feel ill just looking at it, why would you do this, why?

YANBU. NO way you would get me on that thing.

Megatron · 24/03/2012 08:31

Number 9 is fairly horrific as well. I get dizzy at the top of the stairs.

YANBU. I would shit myself on that!

Dillydollydaydream · 24/03/2012 08:39

I used to love rollercoasters when I was younger. I remember going on the nemesis, oblivion and air at Alton Towers when they were new!
Think I'd have a heart attack now though!

herladyship · 24/03/2012 08:40

YABU, rollercoasters are amazing Grin

apocalypse at Drayton Manor looks scary but is actually quite dull, dd (10) complained 'did we queue half an hour just for that?!'

AKMD · 24/03/2012 08:40

I seem to have got wussier with age (I'm mid-twenties Wink). I can't go on playground swings anymore because it makes me feel sick Blush

DoubleGlazing · 24/03/2012 08:46
Shock
JustHecate · 24/03/2012 08:54

I am scared of heights (or rather I have a total lack of fear of heights which is terrifying-explain in a minute) but I LOVE rollercoasters. Can't go on them any more because of health issues, but I used to LOVE them. Always made a run for the most extreme ride available. I'd love these! Grin

re heights - when I look down from any great height, I am overwhelmed by the urge to jump. This scares the holy hell out of me!

Acekicker · 24/03/2012 09:03

That looks amazing, when we finally go to Vegas I'd be up for that Grin!

JustHecate I think that urge is quite common, apparently...DH got it when he went to the Grand Canyon & is not keen to go back in case it happens again.

I don't mind climbing mountains or doing slightly hairy scrambling, but only if there are no big drops nearby. I hate cliff tops & would not go to top of Eiffel Tower or CN Tower, for instance.

Oh and I HATE roller coasters. Just hate them so much. We went on a work outing to Alton Towers & it was wasted on me. I hated it. Sad

PoultryInMotion · 24/03/2012 10:02

I went up the Stratosphere in LV but no way could I bring myself to go on the rides! The one that's seesaw like is truely terrifying!

SIL went on with DB to keep him company despite hating that kind of thing. She must really love him is all I can say Grin

PoultryInMotion · 24/03/2012 10:04

JustHecate I get the same feeling except for me I think someone is going to push me. I wont let anyone (including DH) stand behind me when I go near a high up window or cliff edge.

AutumnSummers · 24/03/2012 11:07

YABVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVU!

i live for that shit.

Ebb · 24/03/2012 12:05

Yabu. I've been on Kingda Ka and it was wicked fun! I would have gone on the Las Vegas rides too had I not been pregnant. Rollercoasters are great fun. Grin

whatsapussycatdoll · 24/03/2012 13:22

they all look amazing!!! I have managed to wangle a theme park trip into on my honeymoon. LOVE them!

fluffyliquorice · 24/03/2012 13:56

Ive been on the X Scream in Vegas, it's not as scary as it looks. Insanity was closed the day we went, the Big shot which is a drop ride right on top of the Stratosphere was amazing. Six Flags was great, me and 13 year old ds went on everything. He's now my roller coaster buddy. (DH hates them)
