with my pram? I find it is easier so I don't bang people's legs, as a lot like to sit with their legs wide apart and don't always move them as you come down the aisle. My oldest daughter will take my oyster card, and get on through the front door and swipe it for me, so the trip is always paid for.
I'm asking because a grumpy bus driver shut the door on me as I was entering the bus and then told me off! I'm new to the country and not totally sure about bus etiquette. It's not a massive pram either- a 3 wheeler but one of the smallest ones you can get; and fits well with another one in the bay.
