To think these shoes are ugly looking

I know they are!

They look like the shoes my Grandad wears in the house, which he orders from the back pages of newspaper supplements.

My grandad has some similar for sitting in his chair with a cup of tea!

Shutupanddrive · 20/03/2012 13:07

They look like grandad slippers

fedupofnamechanging · 20/03/2012 13:09

They are foul. YADefNBU!

RoisinK · 20/03/2012 13:10

YANBU - they are awful.

CreepyWeeBrackets · 20/03/2012 13:12

Not as bad as these Uggs

I have been pinching DD's fake boot things to wear round the house so thought I would take a look.

WTAF? My NAN passed on some of these to me in the early eighties. They were slippers! I fell down the stairs and broke my arm wearing them.

OldGreyWiffleTest · 20/03/2012 13:12

Depends who is wearing them. Some people might like them.

backwardpossom · 20/03/2012 13:14

See, I would totally wear the Uggs, creepy, at least they're slippers! I would NOT pay £100 for them though Shock

Voidka · 20/03/2012 13:15

£100 for slippers.
If you wore them to school people would be whispering about you.

piratecat · 20/03/2012 13:15

catgirl1976 · 20/03/2012 13:16

Both the Office shoes and the Uggs are grim Shock

Birdsgottafly · 20/03/2012 13:16

I thought that you were going to link to creepers, which my DD has just got. Hers are black and brown, though.

Yes, really, apparently they are back in fashion Confused

piratecat · 20/03/2012 13:17

the grandad ones not the slippers.

Frontpaw · 20/03/2012 13:17

They are very 'on trend' right now. With spider leg trousers and tshirt with rolled up sleeves.

Oh the youth of today...

sallymonella · 20/03/2012 13:18

Revolting.

cocolepew · 20/03/2012 13:20

I remember these from the 80s, straight trousers and white socks optional.

CreepyWeeBrackets · 20/03/2012 13:21

One hundred quid - I know! I think my Nan got them from a Jumble Sale. I miss those. Did eBay kill the Jumble Sale?

Grin at the plimsolls being "soo Wham". This google image result confirms it!

JustHecate · 20/03/2012 13:23

I think they look comfy. They're not the height of fashion, no Grin but they'll be bliss on the old bunions and hammer toes

clartymctarty · 20/03/2012 13:31

They look like a week of school runs would pretty much see them off....need a bit more support in my shoes these days!

worldgonecrazy · 20/03/2012 13:32

We need a smirk emoticon - they are foul and scream "FASHION VICTIM" very, very loudly.

Mandy2003 · 20/03/2012 13:34

YY cocolepew - Kung Fu Shoes! I used to have to go to a special martial arts shop in Whitechapel to buy them in those days. ShoeZone started doing them last year for a fiver and I was delighted, but the sole is layered cotton and wears quickly. My son liked them for the summer too.

A 20-something friend got me to buy her some Flossy shoes on-line and the hard sole is worth the money (but we only paid £11!)

DamonSalvatoreIsMyLoveSlave · 20/03/2012 13:35

I was just thinking exactly the same thing yesterday! They are really on trend at the minute and I was trying to find some flat shoes that wasn't open toe and would go with my chinos but I couldn't bring myself to order a pair of them. They look pretty hideous. Probs the sort of thing someone stunningly attractive would still get away with though I bet Envy.

Ephiny · 20/03/2012 13:38

I think they're horrible, they look like slippers, and not even nice slippers. They look comfy though, and they're cheap!

helloclitty · 20/03/2012 13:38

Yukkkkk!
