Hi all I took my dd 14 and ds 4 to Hampton court yesterday for mothers day we have done this every mothers day for years, they made me tea in the morning and bought me a lovely vase, made me a card so I was feeling pretty proud and happy. Anyway we had a lovely morning then went to the restaurant for lunch when we got to the till my dd pulled money out of her pocket that she had saved from her allowance and said she was going to treat me-at which point I was so happy and touched I burst into tears! :) totally embarrassed dd byp hugging her for ages lol. Her and ds have been teasing me all morning but wouldn't this have made you cry too? And yes maybe j am a little bit smug but I really just wanted to share :)

I was told to go into town tomorrow because my DC knew I had to run some errands, and that I must take time out to relax and have lunch. At this point I was given a coffee shop loyalty card which DC had had stamped upon every visit to get a hot chocolate on the way to school in town and told to use it to get myself a coffee and a sit down. And yes, I cried. :)
