He's knackered, and has fallen asleep on the sofa, but my wineglass is now empty. WIBU to wake him up to refill it? It is mothers day tomorrow after all Grin

Nah, I'd save up all of his goodwill for tomorrow Smile. Unless he's actually asleep on you, in which case, go for it.

purplepansy · 17/03/2012 19:53

I'm working tomorrow, so technically, this is my mothers day...

Will he drink the wine if he's awake? If so, it's surely in your interest to let hime sleep - more wine for you!!

Same here purple so he's slaving over my dinner as we speak! Wake him up!!

purplepansy · 17/03/2012 19:58

He woke up and refilled the glass. He is now demanding that I 'talk' to him, rather than surf the interweb, and is taking the huff that I am on mumsnet. No pleasing some people!

Oh, wake him up then Grin. He'd do it you on Father's day.

zandy · 17/03/2012 20:00

You can 'talk' to him by reading him mumsnet snippets.

purplepansy · 17/03/2012 20:06

I don't believe in Fathers day. Its just made up by Hallmark, therefore he gets no special treatment Wink. He is getting very huffy (although still glued to his blackberry) and has just asked 'am I even here?' Grin

"You can 'talk' to him by reading him mumsnet snippets."

:o

That would make a good top tip:

Bored husband tired of being ignored while you talk about bumsex on Mumsnet? "Entertain" him by reading to him from your pointless female online prattling.
