In thinking we could solve most AIBU's on this thread

As anyone knows who has spent a bit of time on AIBU, the same type of threads do reoccur again and again. This is not a criticism at all. But it does occur to me that we could solve most AIBU's that appear here collectively. So I am inviting you to help me with this. I have made a start below.

WOHM v SAHM Answer: Do whatever is best for your family. Every circumstance is different and what works for one family won't work for another.

Children at weddings Answer: It is up to the bride and groom who they invite. But it is also up to you if you go or not. If going without your child makes it difficult or you just don't want to go without your child, then turn the invitation down.

Shoes off/shoes on: Neither is inherently wrong or rude. If you want to ask people to take shoes off when they come into your house that is your right. But it is also people's right therefore not to come into your house.

Zombie invasion: No the zombie invasion hasn't started. The poster zombie has promised to warn us if this is imminent. Contact the poster Stratters for more advice about preparing for a zombie invasion.

AIBU to think that MN is full of bitches?
Yes YABU. If you don't like it here in the nicest possible way, try another forum as this may not be for you.

Most aibu's are really easy. In that the fact that someone posts something quite trivial, and only requires an ounce of common sense to sort. If you post here(with trivia) ya most likely bu. It used to be a really good topic! But asking if yabu to hang your pants in the washing line isHmmConfused

Good threadGrin

I want to read the thread about hanging pants on a washing line!

And I've stopped posting in AIBU for exactly the reasons above barring this post to say I'm not posting Blush

treadwarily · 17/03/2012 08:53

But then there's nothing to argue about debate

TandB · 17/03/2012 08:57

BF v FF - talk less about what you do with your boobs and there will be fewer arguments.

iCANdothisiCAN · 17/03/2012 09:07

I would say approximately 90% should be answered with "up to you really".

Not a particularly stimulating debate I grant you, but true!

FlouncyMcFlouncer · 17/03/2012 09:14

I'm sometimes tempted to rampage through AIBU typing the answer 'YES YABU - BLOODY BEHAVE YOURSELF!!' - to every single thread - without reading them. Grin

FlouncyMcFlouncer · 17/03/2012 11:06

Whooops - killed the thread!

blackoutthesun · 17/03/2012 11:08

YABU - its WRONG to wear shoes inside the house Grin

Anniegetyourgun · 17/03/2012 11:30

Yeah I know it should be in chat. But wanted people who are used to aibu to see it.

AIBU to think that threads giving instructions to other mumsnetters on what to post in particular topics or how they should do it should self destruct after 5 seconds as they are unremittingly dull.
