But you KNOW you're gonna have to get up at some point, so DO it now!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 15/03/2012 22:48

If you decide not to go to the loo - just beware the 'Going to the loo' dream - if it is too realistic, you know what might happen.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 15/03/2012 22:50

Get up! Otherwise you'll wake up at 1am and won't be able to go back to sleep.

DairyNips · 15/03/2012 22:51

Don't think, just go. You'll be glad you didGrin

pictish · 15/03/2012 22:52

Yabu. It won't end well. You know you'll have to get up again. And you will, it's a dead cert.

LetsKateWin · 15/03/2012 22:52

Go now. I woke in the night needing the loo. I too was determined to stay in bed, but I had to get up before my alarm went off this morning.

Valpollicella · 15/03/2012 22:53

Get up NOW and void that bladder!

You won't be able to go to sleep properly otherwise

ladyfirenze · 15/03/2012 22:54

springchickennugget · 15/03/2012 22:57

it's not healthy to hold it. you'll get an infection!

ladyfirenze · 15/03/2012 23:06

right. thanks for that kick up the backside wimmins... that's much better... however, an unfortunate and unforseen side effect was that I wandered into the kitchen and finished off the coleslaw I left for tomorrows lunch. And maybe a mouthfull or two of the chicken.....

Lolol! Accidental coleslaw and chicken - I like your style, ladyfirenze!

QuintessentialyHollow · 16/03/2012 09:37

I cant believe there is a thread to help a woman make up her mind whether she should go to the toilet or not. Confused

It is fine getting parenting advice, and style advice, but isnt this taking the dependence a step to far!?

at least you didn't put 'no jobby too small' - that might be pushing it - even for mn.

Have a catheter fitted and walk about with the drain bag attached and showing. People will give way to you in the street, you'll get a seat on the bus, everyone will be extra sympathetic but stand further away from you. If you don't want to do that, get yourself a chamber pot and you can lift it from the floor onto the bed make sure you aim properly though.

ladyfirenze · 19/03/2012 20:38

boak, I had a catheter once. It was the bestest thing about a dreadful hospital ordeal..... No peeing for 24 hours!

OP posts:
AmazingBouncingFerret · 19/03/2012 20:42

Ohhh I loved my catheter when I was in hospital. Blush If I never had to pee again that would be great. Wink

confusedpixie · 19/03/2012 21:06

Shewee do a thing that collects the wee and bags it, like an external catheter I suppose?

see

I'm quite bemused by this thread though...
