I remember being quite depressed about turning 30 but that was because my life wasn't going in the direction I had hoped/planned at that time.

Depends on your circumstances really, I'm 30 later this year and I'm in a good place in my life with my DH, DD and nice home so meh to it really, it's just another number nothing to get het up about.

Truthfully, I wasn't happy at turning 30. But truthfully, I was happier in my 30's than my 20's.

I wasn't keen to turn 30, but so far my 30s have been much better than my 20s. I agree with above poster who said it depends on how happy you are with your life at the time.

YABVU! - I vaguely remember 30. It was ok, 31 on the other hand is rubbish. It's nothing, it's in your 30s. It's 'next big birthday is 40' territory. It's depressing. Enjoy 30 :o

When magazines do those 'which skin routine would suit you' spreads I still look at the wrong bit :(

I was newly pregnant on my 30th which made the event rather annoying but the experience less so - kind of felt like I was at an appropriate and happy time in my life and had 'achieved' what I wanted to. 40 is now approaching fast and that's a veerrry different matter

In answer to posts... Very very happy in my life wonderful family and amazing friends.

It's kinda creeped up on me that's all... However DH creeping towards 40 so I've always got some age related banter to fall back on.
