So, I have to go to the supermarket.

I don't want to. It's cold outside and it will be full of annoying people.

But if I don't there will be no wine for me or beer for DH (who is working late).

And for some reason the caps lock on my computer has reversed itself Hmm. How do I fix that?

Pray for me ...

Well, YABU for not ordering it all online and getting them to deliver it to your door. Grin Grin

Salmotrutta · 09/03/2012 19:45

Are you going into the fray with children in tow? Leave them. Save yourself if the going gets tough

theincredibequeenofwands · 09/03/2012 20:04

YABU.

Surely you can make a nice cocktail from the alcohol dregs left in your cupboard?

FatherHankTree · 09/03/2012 20:07

Don't go to the supermarket, it will be full of people, they'll be buying things.

mumatron · 09/03/2012 20:07

Get some for me please. A nice bottle of wine

All I have here is a 2 year old bottle of baileys,

fabwoman · 09/03/2012 20:09

Stau on. Wine is bad.

not pissed at all.

theincredibequeenofwands · 09/03/2012 20:16

Ooooooooooo, wine is goooooooooood!

Had a good half bottle, think it's cured my cold.

fabwoman · 09/03/2012 20:18

struggling to get through 2nd glass

Salmotrutta · 09/03/2012 20:44

I made it back.

With wine. And beer. And some knee high sock things.

I don't have small children - only grown up ones and some grandchildren.

I bleedin' hate shopping - but the wine is here now! Grin

Calamityboo · 09/03/2012 20:51

I have some snowballs left from xmas and a bottle of Jack, but no cola, if I knew you were going to the shops I would have asked you to get me some! Gonna have to drink the snowballs! :(

rushelle · 09/03/2012 20:54

Cheers, am on my more than 1st glass, gone to my head- wine is good, shops are bad usually full off cross people who wish they were drinking wine and eating chocolate. BTW did you get chocolate while you were there, I've had to resort to the choc bunny someone bought for DD. ( I'll replace it tomorrow honest)

CalamityLame · 09/03/2012 21:03

I am on 2nd glass of the only bottle of wine in the vicinity of Charing X station that was under a tenner.

Worked late and was desperate. Wine is vile but I need it!

Especially since, now that I am finally at home, DH is watching shit telly.

I haven't been shopping all week so resorted to eating the maltesers bunnies I had stashed away for DD - snap rushelle!

rushelle · 09/03/2012 21:10

Loving it CalamityLame.

MsVestibule · 09/03/2012 21:20

Ooh, somebody mentioned snowballs ^. As a result of a thread on AIBU before Christmas, I bought a bottle of advocaat so I could make snowballs at our NYE party.

My guests were tres impressed by my retro trendiness. Digs out the 10-week-old-flat-as-a-fart-lemonade from the back of the Christmas Cupboard.

Salmotrutta · 09/03/2012 21:25

Vestibule is a funny old word isn't it. I like it.

I do have chocs as it happens. You may have one rushelle.

I'm tres gracious, I am.

Spooky, my arse. You were just copying me because you know that throwing French words casually into a conversation is a sign of superior intellect Wink.

Calamityboo · 09/03/2012 21:48

Salmotrutta · 09/03/2012 22:07
