I once had a job that I really hated... it meant a journey in and then out the other side of London on train then tube.. .. on more than one occasion I arrived at my destination, looked at the miserable building I was about to spend 8 hours in, crossed the platform and went home Grin

YANBU!!

Call in sick, take the day off wandering round the shops, having lunch out, watching crap telly, and doing all the things you never get to do in the week. Then you will feel refreshed for tomorrow - and tomorrow is friday anyway so if you don't work weekends it's only one day til you get another day off.
