Seems to have gone-anyone know why? Was there an hour ago.

I thought it may be a troll, possibly a reaction to another step-child -wedding thread.

I saw it had gone and assume op requested it be pulled?

It's addressed rather unsatisfactorily imho here

From what I saw of it I couldn't see that it broke any guidelines so I guess some trollerie was suspected

Seriously MNHQ, it was a very gentle thread and lots of people gave of themselves in it: perhaps a few more details as to why it had to go would not be hugely out of line...?

I even put this one on watch as I wanted to know what happened. Maybe it twas fiction...

Even if it was trip trappity one why would it have to be deleted?

I posted early on (had to - timezones meant that was when I was online). it wasn't until much later that somebody (Trills I think) mentioned something about it being fishy.

Had another look at the op's name and it was indeed on a piscatorial theme, much like another deleted thread earlier this week.

Ooh I was wondering why it wasn't on my threads I'm on too ..
