hi! i realize that im on the wrong section but... does anybody know if i can add the milk iv just expressed now to the refrigerated bag of milk i expressed earlier (each only 100ml)? its too late to call anyone i know to ask! thankyou!

the first lot was only expressed about 4 hours ago if that matters?

I used to refrigerate the second batch and only mix once cooled. Not sure why really but it felt safer to mix when the same temperature. Im sure others would add it straight away. Hope that helps.

I've combined milk before if expressed same day but tried to let the second lot cool in the fridge before combining so I'm not adding 'warm' milk to cold. Not sure if there's is any logic to that though...

yes you can add cold milk to cold

Do not add cold to frozen

Let it cool first, then add it..otherwise the cold milk will warm up slightly before cooling again and that's not ideal for keeping it super fresh.
