I changed my correspondence address on my Lloyds TSB credit card a couple of weeks ago - basically we live equally between two properties (no choice) but one of them is more convenient for work so I wanted my bills sent there instead of my home.
I came home today to discover that Lloyds TSB had automatically transferred the buildings and contents insurance on my home to my correspondence address and that the C&G had written to me about my change of address to enquire whether my circumstances had changed and therefore presumably if they could legitimately move me onto their new much worse variable mortgage rate
I definitely did NOT authorise the woman behind the desk to do anything other than change the correspondence address on my credit card
AIBU to be appalled at this shocking service and to change insurers and credit card pronto? (My SVR is too competitive to threaten, unfortunately, or I would get a new mortgage too).
