We send flowers when a member of staff has a baby/operation etc. I have to pay the invoices and I can't bear writing the cheques. It's Gilly's Lilly's spelt and punctuated like that and it's all WRONG

YANBU. Why don't you insist on making the cheques payable to the correctly spelt/punctuated florist - that'll teach 'em!
