I bought us a packet each last night for after tea. I ate mine last night but he said he would have them after. He never had them and went to bed.
They have been sitting in the kitchen all morning taunting me.....
AIBU to eat them?
Will go with majority on this one.

Did he vow to endow you with all his worldly goods? I'd say his M&Ms are included in that!
If you are pregnant just blame the baby.

diddl · 05/03/2012 12:33

Why should you get his just because he didn´t eat them at your the allotted time?

Fezella · 05/03/2012 12:35

Eat them. Blame it on the cat.....if you have one.

imnotmymum · 05/03/2012 12:36

eat them and buy a replacement I gave DH double decker to DS once poor man was totally put out never expected such choc wars

KatAndKit · 05/03/2012 12:37

me and DP ate DSS's selection box back in January. We did replace the chocolate though!

DrowninginDuplo · 05/03/2012 12:37

Don't feel able to give an objective comment as I'm currently eating the DCs smarties.

(yes yes I will replace before they notice)

theboobmeister · 05/03/2012 12:41

Eat them - it is the only way to alleviate your suffering, which must surely be unbearable (I crave M&Ms just thinking about them sitting in your kitchen). Justify it on humanitarian grounds.

MonaLotte · 05/03/2012 12:47

Hmm a slight majority towards eat them. The only thing is I am not pregnant nor do I have a cat...
So no justification other than the fact I am greedy!

I will not be able to replace them before he gets home.

Would the guilt of not being able to replace them ruin any pleasure that may be derived from said m&ms or would it enhance it?

I find that guilt about eating other peoples' chocolate tends to grow weaker with practice Smile

Fezella · 05/03/2012 13:48

I agree Boobmeister - my poor OH is always suprised if his chocolate is still in the cupboard when he gets home.

MonaLotte · 05/03/2012 17:02

Thanks for the replies I decided not to eat them.
I felt too guilty.

Probably most boring thread update ever! :o

I had to fight hard to make sure that I could have MY leftover Chinese for lunch today as everybody else had eaten all of theirs & wanted MINE-which I had deliberately saved.

MonaLotte · 05/03/2012 18:56

:o

DH came home from work and was surprised that they had survived the day!
