I don't normally listen to Radio 1 but happened to tune in a few minutes ago .

Reggie Yates was introducing a song by a new artist, Demi Levatoe. He called up a fan to ask what the songs like etc. Fan says it's a great song, really uplifting and it's about the artists battle with an eating disorder and body image but has a really positive message.

Reggie's response 'and of course the most important question. Is she hot?'

How crass can you be? I never really had an opinion of him before, now I think he's a complete fuckwit.

It was Radio 1 turn it off they are all shallow , and dont get me started on chris moyles

Very crass I agree although I am not sure any of the Radio 1 DJs have much brains between them.

I turned it off after they played the song, which I also really liked MrsJay. I hadn't listened to radio 1 since I was at uni & I couldn't stand the DJs back then either.

It's an idiotic thing to say anyway, but after being told what the song was about you'd think anyone with half a brain cell could work out it's inappropriate.

I sent a message to the show to tell them what I thought, not sure why it wound me up so much, I'm not even really surprised by it.
