DD1 has gone to a show and wont be back until this evening. Her friends are all huddled in a group taking it in turns to ring the doorbell for DD.I have told them she wont be back til about 7pm.But yet every 10 minutes or so they ring it.
So AIBU?They are annoying the shite out of me.

Go out and let a roar at them!

faeriemoo · 04/03/2012 15:38

Why would that be unreasonable?

ReindeerBollocks · 04/03/2012 15:39

YANBU

larks35 · 04/03/2012 15:41

Are they purposely trying to wind you up? YABU to ignore, I would be out there having a right old go at 'em. Why do they keep trying?

BananasInBloomers · 04/03/2012 15:41

Ah one of the mothers is a bit precious even though her DD is a big liar troublemaker.

My brothers friends' used to do this. They'd also take it in turns to phone and ask. Drove us potty until my mother (who was meant to be in bed after an operation) went to every single oiks' home and complained directly to the parents. They never did it again.

MrsKittyFane · 04/03/2012 15:45

They sound like a nice group. :( are they trying to annoy you? If so, ignore.

redlac · 04/03/2012 15:45

Invite them in and impart some womanly wisdom to them

MrsKittyFane · 04/03/2012 15:46

Xpost. Can't believe the cheek of them. Your DD needs new friends.

TheMonster · 04/03/2012 15:48

Ring 101 and report it as harrassment.

BananasInBloomers · 04/03/2012 15:48

LOL redlac,I could show them my CS scar and varicose veins.Frighten the bejoosus out of them.

They are nice enough kids except for one of them who is,imo,a spoilt little madam.

Take the batteries out

redlac · 04/03/2012 15:50

That's exactly what I was thinking - show off some woman battle scars and frighten them to death ;)

BananasInBloomers · 04/03/2012 15:51

Oh good idea.Where would the batteries be?

OP posts:
BananasInBloomers · 04/03/2012 15:53

TheMonster · 04/03/2012 17:58

did they do it again?

AwkwardMary · 04/03/2012 18:00

Why would they keep ringing though? Confused you''ve told them she's not n....it sounds like they're winding you up.

ll31 · 04/03/2012 18:01

its your door bell so if you don't want to answer don't

RuleBritannia · 04/03/2012 18:05

For all they know you might be in the back garden and can't hear the bell.

minimisschief · 04/03/2012 18:19

dont put up with crap from kids. theres two teenagers upstairs who like to invite their friends round when their parents arent i for screaming stomping sessions. other night i bellowed through the ceiling for them to stfu or ill be talking to their parets. They shut up promptly.
