So I thought giving up choc for lent would be a good idea...right now I would sell a limb for a wedge of dairy milk!

amistillsexy · 02/03/2012 21:11

I've just sent dh out for some, Wonder what he'll bring me?

Normologist · 02/03/2012 21:11

DH brought me home a box of black magic chocolates this evening, they're in the cupboard.

They're yours if you can work out the logistics of getting the limb to me. I'm not giving them away for nothing no way.

GaveUpChocolateAndNotMissingItAtAll...

The first week was grim but it seems to be getting easier.
The DCs have a flippin' jar full of chocolate ....be strong,be strong..

Caramel Snack-a-Jacks lose their appeal after a while Hmm

mightycheeks · 02/03/2012 21:17

Yawner I was hungover - which explains why I thought it was a good idea at the time. Luckily my husband has also given up booze and is thus also suffering.

technodad · 02/03/2012 21:18

He doesn't really exist. Have some chocolate and donate some money to a worthy charity instead. That way you will feel much better and actually achieve something!

Yawner247 · 02/03/2012 21:20

No limbs are on offer for black magic I'm afraid!!! Milk or white chocolate of good quality and I'll open negotiations Grin
crazynanna I hope your happy with your yummy chocolate consumption....I am not jealous at all!!!
Why do you crave what you can't eat/have

OP posts:
Yawner247 · 02/03/2012 21:23

Ahhh technodad if only it were that simple...he's real I've seen him on the cross... made out of milk and white chocolate...with a praline centre..

OP posts:
crazynanna · 02/03/2012 21:23

Actually I feel a bit sick now Envy

Yawner247 · 02/03/2012 21:25

mighty that explains a lot!!! I had just finished a sharing bag of maltesers that were clearly shared with me, myself and I and thought do you know what I NEED to stop eating so much of it and thought it was a good idea!
Sorry for the numerous posts I'm on my phone!!! Grin

Is the concept of noshing Christ not blasphemy?

happybubblebrain · 02/03/2012 21:28

I have discovered that the crispy white chocolate they sell in Aldis is really really yummy and I will be buying and eating more of it, especially for lent. By easter I should be sick of the sight of chocolate and not need to eat any easter eggs at all.

happybubblebrain · 02/03/2012 21:29

Jesus Christ, it is 2012, haven't we grown up enough to notice that Christianity is a load of twaddle yet?

Yawner247 · 02/03/2012 21:30

He forgives technodad for he can see me struggling with my demons WinkWink

OP posts:
technodad · 02/03/2012 21:35

happybubblebrain - it is just a fashion thing, I can't believe that anyone actually believes in god, they just like the idea of looking pure (and it doesn't sound like Y247 is particularly pure! Smile)

mightycheeks · 02/03/2012 21:40

Yawn I was eating a giant chocolate croissant to recover from hangover hence my dual suffering.

Yawner247 · 02/03/2012 21:40

Didn't see the hubbly post...define pure?!? I've never given anything up for lent and being as I'm carrying a nice lil muffin top around since having dd I thought I'd use lent to try and give up my chocolate demons Grin
