I hate shopping with a passion as I can never find anything to fit me, and all this vanity sizing marlarky does my head in.
This morning I've seen this article on yahoo, which is pretty helpful and interesting. So I thought I'd share.
uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/blogs/francesca-hornak/size-really-144248230.html
Apparently according to the article:
Whistles, French Connection and Reiss sizes come up large
Zara are cut for a curvy, more petite physique than most UK high street brands
European brands will often cut to a more petite template than UK or US brands
French Connection and Reiss cater to a more pear shaped figure
Topshop and Oasis for a more 'straight up and down' physique
In it they have a link (that doesn't work!!!) to a sizing app.
sizes.darkgreener.com/
Its rather good.
Anyway AIBU to share with you all in the hope it helps a few of you?
(whilst trying not to moan that it officially appears that they don't cater for petite women in this country.)
