White clothes for kids?

Am I the only one thinking why do designers bother?????Does anybody buy them let alone put their kids in them?

If so how long did they stay white?I personally think I'd be lucky to get half an hour of wear out of them before they were stained beyond Vanish.

I don't even wear white clothes myself...they're like spilt tea magnets Grin

Ah, see the trick is to have a bucket, and shove them in lingerie whitener Grin

White clothes can be boiled and bleached. I love them!

randommoment · 28/02/2012 21:43

Are these the same designers as put 'dry clean only' on kids clothes?

I do like white cardies...they go with everything...take your point though!

i buy lots of white tshirts for DDs to tie dye.

I had this very thought this morning when I remembered buying white leggings for my toddler Confused. They were on a grand total of 20 mins before she wandered over to a muddly puddle and sat in it.

What was I thinking???

iceandsliceplease · 28/02/2012 21:55

Someone bought a pair of white linen trousers for DD at exactly the age when she was crawling/trying to walk.

If anyone can explain to me the thought process behind this, I will be forever in your debt.

Next always seem to put white T shirts in their multipacks. I find this v annoying.
